I love science fiction. I had high hopes for this series after watching the first episode. Unfortunately it went downhill very fast. I feel sorry for the actors in this show. Seriously there are so many moments of sheer stupidity in the script. Where common sense/intelligence seems to have completely abandoned the script writers. Due to the "spoiler rule" I can't point out the incredibly stupid moments in the script but there are many...in every episode. Moments where you just cringe because of stupidity. I'll try explaining one extremely stupid segment without contravening the spoiler rule. Imagine you are in a situation where someone close to you is dying in a matter of hours and in order to save them you have to travel miles to get the "cure" under threat of the bad guys who want to kill you. Would you A. Run like crazy keeping quiet and watching for the enemy or B. Amble slowly, taking your time, like in Central Park on a Sunday afternoon with a Starbucks coffee in your hand in very loud conversation with a friend like you have a couple of hours to kill? Yeah, exactly. So many moments like this in every episode since the first one. Hey I don't mind the budget isn't there for great graphics but whoever wrote this script should stick to children's books with one syllable words. I'm happy to offer my script review services if BYU is actually stupid enough to renew this show for a second season.
