Five episodes in and the show still has a lot of questions to resolve. Let's hope they wrap things up in a satisfactory manner over the course of the remaining chapters. In Dig Dug, Jim Hopper explores the upside-down tunnels stretching under the town of Hawkins, spreading the influence of the shadow monster. As he wanders the tunnels, he is attacked by the vines and rendered helpless. In another part of town, Dustin is busy tackling Dart, the cat-eating tadpole that looks to be growing into a demogorgon, while Nancy and Jonathan visit the conspiracy guy to try and reveal the truth, Lucas tells Max about what happened last year, Bob the Brain susses out Will's drawings, leading to the rescue of Jim, and Eleven travels to find her mother. Dig Dug wraps things up with the scientists of Hawkins lab turning up at the tunnels to cremate the vines, which results in Will having a seizure.
