"Prometheus Transmission" is probably one of the lesser seen Peter Weyland files, at least it is among the weaker entries and I can say that as I have seen (almost) all of them. These seven minutes here are okay during the interviews, though still not too insightful, mediocre during the space recordings and terrible during the last 2 minutes. I guess overall the intention here was to make a bit of a connection between our world and the future depicted in Prometheus, but I don't think it worked out at all. At least, it is not a film that will get you curious whatsoever about Prometheus. In general, I must say these Peter Weyland short films don't do too much for me, but this one here is probably even more insignificant than the others. Brief inclusions of Elba, Rapace, Fassbender and LMG won't cut the cake and with the material they are given here it cannot make an impact at all. I give it a thumbs-down and suggest you watch something else instead.
