While there have been many stories of faith, but I will say that I really liked this one. I thought what made it very interesting is how ones faith is tested through a personal tragedy and how to rediscover one shot faith again. The story tells with Mack Phillips who goes on a camping trip with his kids, josh, Kate, and missy. When an accident involving a canoe boat distracts Mack to save josh, and Kate, his youngest missy gets kidnapped. Mack goes through a depression blaming himself for his daughters death and goes through a spiritual reawakening of sorts wondering if one can really talk to god and tell them what's on ones mind.
