JUNGLE BOOK: SEARCH FOR THE LOST TREASURE is a spin-off from Kipling's famous tale, featuring the character of Mowgli in support, but there are few animals here and Mowgli isn't the focus of the story. Instead the adventure follows a couple of diamond-hunting kids whose fathers are kidnapped by bad guys, so they call in Mowgli's help. This is very much a twee and dated juvenile film from the 1990s, playing it safe throughout, with mild action and violence, lots of overacting on the part of the baddies, and a generally 'safe' feel.
