At first I found Meredith Hagner enchanting with her optimism and hopeless romantic outlook. She is fun. But by near the end of the movie I find Cynthia so shallow that I have given up hope for her. And the 180 she does at the last minute is crazy. It's true that Liam is really the one she loves. But I really question whether her turnabout is an epiphany or a last resort.
The one bright spot in the movie is the mystery behind the gifts of the 12 Days of Christmas. We are given so many clues and end up picking almost every eligible person except the right one. Kudos if you figured it out before the reveal.
