Mediocre but pleasant enough love story

Warning: Spoilers
Juliana Paes is a sizzling Brazilian actress and this movie plays to her strengths without crossing over into nudity. Sometimes Juliana is preening for effect and at other times she manages to inject some heart and compassion into her lines.

Dean Cain does his best to support Paes. He is supposed to look like a typical man who is overly impressed by the sexy lady and therefore looks a little clumsy. In the romantic moments he holds up his end but doesn't shine.

It is a pleasant enough love story and of course we know how it has to end. There are really no twists or surprises.

However the ending doesn't totally make sense since it never explains how Ana will get the money she needs to pay her debt, but who knows, maybe the place is worth enough to mortgage it. Also, she leaves abruptly and must still think that Jake is making up to his wife and that she may no longer be the ex, but Ana comes back anyway. Maybe we are supposed to believe she came back for love of the countryside.

It's a romance story, so those frequently don't make sense.
