Sometimes I forget that this show is aimed at teens and children. I just didn't think it was written by children.
There are so many things wrong with this episode. For starters, not only was Mon-el right, but what J'onn did merits not just firing but probably trial for treason. But even then, there is no security agency in the world, much less corporations, where this could have happened. Protocols would hot have allowed it, at least not without serious investigation. And all those hurt feelings, Alex, grow up. Kara too. And so, then J'onn gets cautious after the cow has left the barn.
But that's not bad enough, everyone's reaction after the weapon raid went down was ridiculous. There were several minutes went bye before Supergirl reacted, and I thought she was fast. And there were other obvious reaction errors.
In general, Kara and Alex and others so frequently act way too childish. Kara's tantrums are frequent and definitely in the 10-12 year old range.
I know, I know, don't take it too seriously. But this one could have been written better by an 8 year old. And we sure are showing our teen viewers a good example of how to throw tantrums.
