Rarity gets Applejack to be a judge for a fashion show. It was fun seeing Hoity Toity and Photo Finish again. Was this the first time we saw Photo Finish's eyes? They actually don't bring up the fact that Applejack is the element of honesty even though it obviously makes sense here. The best part is probably seeing the personalities of the fashion designers. I love the one with the valley girl accent. Then again, I don't think she ever uses the word "like". She has the voice down, though. I like how they represented a goth there. Yeah, she reminded me of Maud Pie.
My only complaint is that the ending is a bit of a copout. It's up to Applejack to determine who wins and she simply says they all do. Okay, it's a nice message, but I was expecting something a little more daring. Still, the animation is as wonderful as ever. It's even cute to see Apple Bloom with that big ol' hat on. It's funny when Applejack turns red from anger for a few seconds and looks like Big Macintosh! That gag with Rarity playing is hilarious. Pinkie Pie keeps that guitar in her hair! ***1/2
