I obtained this film on the premise that, according to some IMDb reviewers, it was gory and shocking. It wasn't. Gory and shocking is "The Hills Have Eyes" or "L'Interieur" or "Irreversible" or Marian Dora's "Cannibal." My guess is the movie must've been reviewed by suburban housewives whose definition of violence is Ernie slapping Bert in the face.
This is one of those flicks that, if you see it, it's okay. If you miss it, that's okay, too. Watching it won't enrich your life or give you hope that mankind is redeemable. It's just a little horror flick to pass the time until reboots of "Saw" or "Hellraiser" gets to the cineplex near you. Until then, simply enjoy for what it is - a minor entry in the twisted killer genre. Could've been gorier, though. Doesn't hold a candle to similar films like "Maniac."
