I mean, we all wanted to see Jack Bauer on screen kicking asses once more. I did too, but it's about time to let that beloved character go.
This new series is again about highly trained and tech-skillful terrorist's haunting the US's top agency CTU. It has all the past stuff like a superb tactics agent (loved that Edgar Stiles reference), a rogue leader (former leader in this case), a complete ass and stick-to-the-rules head.
Unfortunately for Middle East people, you are the bad guys once more. Not that I don't like it, but I don't see cartel kingpins to become a terrorist threat to US government.
I'm kind of liking it so far. Perhaps based on my guy Bauer, and even with their faulty scenes filled with tech gaps, terrorists always one step ahead of the "good fellas", ridiculous moments (police station escape scene), I will continue to its conclusion.
It it gets renewed (which its highly possible), I will be a fanboy once again.
