Yes I know this is the CW and yes it is a comic book on TV BUT... if a gov agent with a machine gun got the drop on one of the major criminal threats against the entire world wouldn't it have been proper to shoot them? Yet there is Alex with a machine gun right in front of Ms. Luthor and she does not fire a shot. Unreal.
I am not advocating killing, no, but cutting her off at the knees would have solved a whole lot of future problems. Giving traitor dad one in the leg too would have been appropriate; and Supergirl could have handled whatever that anti-superman guy is. The el-train? If Alex had fired without stopping to talk, everything would have been taken care of.
This ep seemed like a nice way to get Dean Cane and Helen Slater back on the show. Not much more. Oh yeah the DEO database will factor in a future plot or two but that could have been hacked remotely by some super hacker at CADMUS.
