Little Secret (2016)

Good and beautiful elegy
27 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is not outstanding. It would be possible to develop a little bit more the dramatic moments of the story - mainly the relationship between Jeanne and Robert or Kat's discovery of her disease.

However, the movie is not about that. The movie is an elegy to the memory of Kat - even more because the director of the movie is one of her elder brothers, David Schurmann. And the movie delivers what it promises, since, at the end, a beautiful and touching message reaches the audience.

The actors are great - Júlia Lemmertz and Maria Flor are outstanding. The movie also deals with a very difficult topic, but from a child's perspective. All that leads to a very dramatic and touching end.

Overall, it is a good movie that tells a very beautiful, yet sadly short story.
