Warning: Spoilers
The pilot Ep exudes so much substance, having great twists and amazing cast, albeit the acting seemed somewhat forced, however is rectified in subsequent episodes. This being typical of most new shows, is quite forgiving.

The set up for the series is exciting and draws away from the cookie cutter standard law practice and crime fighting genres. The only defining similarities would be the familiar grit and up beat quirk and intelligence that made Boston Legal and House MD so great. Exactly what we have been missing for so long. Let's just hope they keep the comedic relief true to the format, witty and far away from the farce mistakes of the recent season drama crime series Blacklist. The Aram and Nevabi deal that really took away from the respect of the show. **Warning Spoiler** Thankfully the romance taking form for one pair of characters is minus the goofy awkwardness.

Back to Notorious, all players show to be having intriguing stories that has so far hinted at more deep entangled relationships, keeping you guessing who's who and what's what. On top of such a great character set up, lies an unraveling main story which keeps you guessing and just to get you all worked up they have multitudes of new side stories which take form every episode. Just packed full of plot twists, witty dialogue and a pace that keeps your eyes on the screen.

What a refreshing addition to the 2016 drama line up.
