A bunch of rich and nauseatingly self absorbed young toss monkeys travel to a nearby island for a weekend holiday. Here they visit a nightclub that only caters for heterosexual people.
Pierce Brosnan—looking painfully worse for wear these days—owns the nightclub, and offers a bizarre new drug called Urge, which releases the user's inhibitions for an indefinite period. The catch: you can only take it once, and supply is strictly controlled.
Two scenes later the drug is miraculously available to pretty much everyone all over the island, and everyone's taking multiple hits. This reversal of a critical plot element is never explained.
As tensions between the holidaymakers become unbearable, they begin to live out their worst fantasies under the influence of Urge. Only one member of the group seems immune: but can he survive the weekend? I honestly couldn't give a toss, and neither will you.
I rate Urge at 9.99 on the Haglee Scale, which works out as a pathetic 3/10 on IMDb.
