Warning: Spoilers
"The Trouble with Harry Isn't Over" is a documentary from 2001 and it is about the making of Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry", a 1955 movie and one of Hitchcock's not too frequent attempts at making a comedy movie, even if it not exclusively comedy. This documentary here runs for slightly over half an hour ans was written and directed by French filmmaker Laurent Bouzereau, who was worked a lot in the specific area of "film on film", which means documentaries about really well-known (often really old) movies. However, I must say I did not know this Hitchcock film before seeing this documentary. And it does not really get me curious about the film either. It was a breakthrough film for Shirley MacLaine as we find out here and there's also more interviews with people liked to the movie and also some scenes from the movie. All in all, it seemed very sterile and emotionless to me, which made me not care about the documentary as well as the source film. I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
