6/10
procedural a bit slow
6 March 2016
Father Thomas Martin is found brutally stabbed in his church. He used boxing to reform local thugs and bring calm to the community which rioted years before. Police was not welcomed in the estates back then. Commander Clare Blake leads the investigation. Denny Wade is an early suspect after serving ten years for killing his wife. Jack Bannerman is a local leader and a thug during the riots. Jimmy Bannerman is his son following his boxing father. DCI Doug James reveals that he was involved in a deadly riot incident.

After turning the show into a procedural, it continues to be somewhat slow. The police team doesn't have the earlier personalities. It's only Blake and Doug James that really stands out with their own identities. Jack Bannerman seems a little fake as the reformed thug. It would be more interesting for him to be in a suit and tie. Jimmy is kind of interesting. There is maybe enough material for 2/3 of the running time.
