To say this movie wasn't entertaining would be a lie. It stays true to the show by having a boatload of ridiculous, over the top party scenes. If you were a fan of the show, like myself, you obviously liked that. However, the show had a stronger sense of plot, the fact that they were football players in college. The show made the atmosphere, while ridiculous, feel like a college campus.
The movie was less focused on the whole scenario, and spent 95% of the time on the party, but it was implausible (not that anyone watched the show for plausibility). It felt slightly rushed, and while I enjoyed some of the shock value scenes, some were just put in with no regards to the plot, which was weak in the first place (to save the Goat House). There was very little explanation of what happened after the finale of the show, it just kind of jumped in. I liked the show, and if you did, I'd recommend this movie, but keep in mind that it's more of a party movie than a college movie.
