I've read several of the customer reviews here, about Vinyl, and am surprised so many found it flat and cliché. Okay, it got off to a slow start, but there is a worthwhile story here. It's passion vs. money, and one man's love for the former. The heart and soul of rock and roll were then being gobbled up by corporate influence, and our hero, Finestra (Cannavale), sees hope in the form of punk rock, which was then just emerging.
