***SPOILERS*** Recovering from a brutal rape during a home invasion Jodi Allen, Kelcie, Stranhan, and her single mom Andera, Amy Pietz, who witnessed the rape but was helpless to prevent it are now in a new and what seems like safer neighborhood trying to start a new life and forget about the past. Things don't turn out that way with Jodie a photo freak spying on her neighbors and photographing them like in the 1954 movie "Rear Window" and prying into their private lives.
It's when Jodie notices someone in shadow snooping around her next door neighbor real estate agent Lisa Miller's, Kelly Packard, house she goes whole hog wild to catch the culprit. Going so far as breaking into Lisa's house and almost, by breaking and entering, getting arrested for doing it! It's the next day that Lisa is herself murdered by getting her skull cracked open by a house invader that Jodi jumps the gun accusing another next door neighbor Nick Tompkins, Grant Harvey, whom she had already accused of stealing her camera, of murdering Lisa.
This not only throws by the cop in charge the friendly detective Franklin, Dorien Wilson, suspicion on Jodi but Lisa's live-in niece Kristen, Katinna Norman, of being somehow involved in Lisa'a murder! It was later the Jodi fell in love with the cute Nick Tompkins whom she realized couldn't kill a fly much less a human being-Lisa Miller-whom she at first fingered as Lisa's murderer!
***SPOILERS*** We soon get to see that it was the grieving Kristen together with her hot in the pants as well as greasy looking, like a young Charles Bronson without his famous mustache, boyfriend car mechanic Ted Wilcox, Ethan Erickson, who did Lisa in to get their greedy hands on her 4 million dollar bank account and real estate properties. The two lover also went so far as to frame the innocent Nick by placing the murder weapon, a lead pipe, in Nick's house just where the police lead by Det. Franklin, with a search warrant, could find it! Now with her boyfriend Nick facing life behind bars due to her at first fingering him in Lisa's murder Jodie goes all out to exonerate him by tracking down, with her camera, Lisa's killers. Which one of them Ted being filmed by her, as she was hiding in his closet, being video taped having his brains blown out by his "lover" Kristen so she can get all of Lisa's money and make his death look like a suicide.
Over the top ending with Jodi having it out with Kristen, who kidnapped her, in the woods with her mom Andera coming to her rescue only to end up getting shot at point blank range by the dead eyed sharp shooting Kristen. But instead of dropping dead Andera like the biblical Lazarus ends up coming back from the dead, was she wearing a bullet proof vest or girdle,and whacking Kristen from behind before she could do, with her about to blow Judi away, any more damage.
