I cannot fathom why anyone could give this episode more that 3 stars. Really stupid episode, the "evil genius"-villain Snart could be ended by regular bullet in first 15 minutes of the show. There is no body armor, ice-gun is just ridiculous. Normal gun would be more harmful (speed and range).
There are literally 100 more logical ways to end these two moron- villains than "crossing the beams"-strategy. You could just shoot them during their stupid monologues. Or drive over them. Or if you feel really pacifistic, use tear gas and disarm them (they do not have any gas-masks).
But no! Police needs the Flash for it. And Flash can outrun a bullet & missile in previous episode, but now he cannot outrun a really slow looking ice/fire-beam?! Come on! In previous episodes Flash literally takes clothes off a mugger and brings police officer next to him, all in the blink of the eye. Why he just does not do the same to the villains? Take stupid guns in fraction of a second.
And also this episode is full of "feelings" and step-dad is really annoying again. Why the h**l can't Flash do something different than helping the incompetent police for a while?
