When out shopping for shoes Mark meets April, a quirky and pretty girl working in the shoe shoo. Mark is comfortable around her as she's geeky, he soon starts stalking her and finds she's gone off to University, in Dartmouth. Super Hans has signed up to front a new band, Jez is not amused and insists on being in the band too, turns out one of the gigs is in Dartmouth, Mark tags along, and ends up going back to Uni in pursuit of April.
A wonderfully uncomfortable episode, it's just brilliant, such a wonderfully comic setup. Capaldi's performance was outstanding too, he's such a funny man, with perfect timing. You're watching this and waiting for the impending doom to occur.
It would be a long time before we'd see April again, the next episode she appears in 'Threeism' is one of the funniest.
