Joe suffers an accident that leaves him quadriplegic; Brian starts an affair with the wife of a Navy seals who killed Bin Laden, and Seth takes another uninspired plunge in mediocrity. Family guy is known more for its quirky humour than its plot. Take away that twisted, foaming-at-the-mouth humour and what you've got is flat, dry bread. Which is what this turned out to be. Slept off both times I tried to watch this to the end, literally. Most attempts at humour fall flat and I only managed a smile or two the entire episode. Family guy has had a well-deserved long run and it's only right it retires when the ovation is loudest. Would be surprised if there is a season 15 unless new zany characters are injected into the equation.
