Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! (2015–2018)

Very Disappointing - please reconsider artwork and character development!
13 November 2015
I have watched the Scooby series almost since it began, first with my own children and now with my grandchildren and had never been disappointed with a revision until now.

One complaint is the artwork, it makes the characters (particularly Fred) look like either Frankenstein characters (long square jaw with mouth too high on the face) or just fools. The facial proportions are way off in a very unattractive way.

Even more important, is the character development. Daphne and Velma were always characters for young girls to emulate. They were bright, brave, and able to think out of the box. In this series, Daphne acts like a Valley Girl or a Barbie Doll. There are enough of those characters on TV and the Internet. Daphne and Velma characters used to be a breath of fresh air to parents and grandparents. The current characterizations do not live up to your previous high standards.

I do hope that someone will consider the question of the female characters even if they do not consider the artwork.

Thank you,
