So first, yes, this episode is superb. Probably the best of all and when I first watched it from the start, of course, bunch of folks will die. That was really make me love this episode more. I couldn't even blink.
Second, no, I'm not a fan of Glenn. But yes, i like him tho. He's a great show-runner character, even though everybody who read the comics know exactly what fate do he has, that he ended up dead. But no, not like this. Im not trying to denying any facts that happened in that dumpster scene, and I know there is no way he could escape that Z riot. But he must've did something somehow that we haven't know. I would prefer, yes, he might have been bitten or something, but not devoured like that. It's so not a memorable death, ever. But maybe somehow he hid somewhere.
Here's my theory. I call it Michonne Theory. Because she's the one who brought us onto this concept. She used walkers to be her shield, so no walker could've notice her. Maybe Glenn covered his body with some viscera. Then he crawl under he dumpster, just like everybody who-mad-about-this are saying. And yes, maybe he got bitten or such, or if hopefully, he wasn't. But this death isn't fit for a main character. And I believe the writers aware of that.
