A good, entertaining film that could have been a lot better

Warning: Spoilers
I always overlook the overall plot and story of a film if it turns out to be a laugh riot; this, despite being very entertaining and full of some very, very funny scenes, falls a little too flat in the story. The reason given and the circumstances that force him to marry those three women is just childish. Again, a laugh riot could easily have made me not even mention this point.

Although a lot of Bollywood comedy films revolve around the main character tackling more wives or girlfriends at one time, this film however throughout gave the impression of being loosely, in fact very loosely, being based on 'Garam Masala' (2005), but falls in comparison to that masterpiece. What I did not also like was how once more a disability, deafness in this film's case, was portrayed as something funny. It is not about whether such scenes and jokes make you laugh or not, it is more about whether we should at all.

But, above all, the film entertains throughout and was a revelation, a much needed film considering the kind of utter nonsense that Bollywood has been dishing out in the name of comedy. Some of its scenes were just hilarious!

A special word of praise for Kapil Sharma of course, who was as entertaining and brilliant as he is in his shows on the TV channels. I hope he gets the opportunities to work in even better and big budgeted comedy films.
