I don't get the hate for this episode. It sure isn't my favorite and considering the standards of How I Met Your Mother pretty low, yet according to television standards it is above the average of what one usually sees.
I like the idea of going through the same time,, just showing it in different rooms and let us see more and more about what happened. The problem is that with a lot of those things one doesn't really care what happened. I didn't care too much about who ate Mr. Cootes spring rolls for example. And it ends in a pretty weird way. What about it made Mr. Cootes so happy.
