I don't even know where to begin. From Vergara's literally exact same character personality from Modern Family to the tastelessly written script--this movie is a flop from beginning to end. It is literally an insult to the Homo Sapiens species; anyone who values their intellectual development should avoid this "movie" like wildfire. Watch this atrociously scripted and lazily casted flick if you feel like getting a brain tumor. Seriously, I have no idea why such talented actresses like Witherspoon and, to a lesser extent, Vergara would ever agree to starring in something this insulting to the human spirit. The humor is dry, forced, and painfully generic to the point that even a good paycheck wouldn't even make it worth it for the actors. Overwhelmingly annoying doesn't begin to describe what these characters come off as from the first few minutes of this masterpiece. With jaded and simplistic situational irony this comedy couldn't even make an autistic 3rd grader laugh. For the love of all that is holy in this world--please don't waste precious minutes of your life when you could be out chugging bleach or everclear. Either actions would incontrovertibly cause less brain damage than watching this work of art. Hollywood has lost all shame and respect for the audience in assuming that it will simply gobble up this pathetic drivel.
