Marshall's story is pretty good. The main problem was that "the guy" he has become was not a very entertaining idea. This part of the episode was funny mainly thanks to the other guys such as the food guy and also the toy guy. The ending with the ninja in the building and them running away was also pretty good.
Ted's story was good for two reasons. Having been in the same position as him, I can totally relate to that character, so they dealt with it very well. And thanks to Robin sleeping with his assistant we also got to see some more of jealous Barney. My favorite part was Marshall telling him that he knew and him and Lily would do it so the two sit next to each other. Barney's "aaaaw" was adorable.
And I want Lily back. Although they made this episode without her in a pretty lever way. I would love to know that joke!
