The true purpose of this show is clearly to expose the cruelty prevalent in turn of the century American High society. However, the fact that this has been done under the guise of high-drama is truly revolutionary. The intelligence & unadulterated talent needed to do this is gargantuan. Natasha Leggero is spell-binding in the role of Lillian, her acting is mesmerising. Christina Hendricks enthrals as the mentally retarded Chair & the tall blond one does not hinder her cast-mates in their collective tour de force of thespian mastery.
