Peppermint Patty is trying to color eggs but Marcie keeps cooking them wrong. Woodstock finds his nest flooded and complains to Snoopy. Linus is annoying his sister Lucy with tales of the Easter Beagle when all she wants are presents from Schroeder. Sally wants new shoes and Charlie Brown brings her to the mall. Patty is there to buy more eggs and Snoopy buys a birdhouse. Sally is hesitant to believe Linus and his Easter Beagle who is suppose to be bringing a basket of Easter Eggs.
I just love Peppermint Patty and Marcie. They are a great comedy duo. I can't help but laugh every time. The story is cohesive and fun. Charlie Brown actually steps back a little and everybody else has their own fun stories. There is never any doubt that Snoopy will rescue the day as the Easter Beagle.
