I wholeheartedly recommend watching this movie, all the more considering this is the directors first featured fiction movie. Ivona Juka, the director, is also credited with the movie's screenplay, which is incidentally one of the best i've seen coming from this region. While Croatia's cinematography continues being plagued by constant motives of war and historical detail, Juka takes us away from these accustomed leit-motifs and tells us a story quite unusual for these parts.
The characters don't have a classic happy end, which in my book is a particularly big plus, nor are they in any way stereotypes. These 3 female characters are unique and lifelike in their 3 separate stories.
I once again strongly suggest you go see this feature, because you won't feel disappointed at all, only pleasantly surprised by the sheer brilliance of it.
