I initially didn't know what to expect from this series, but from the Pilot episode on, I was hooked. Granted, there are some points that give off the all too familiar "Friends" vibe, but I reckon that is rooted in the fact, that Friends was THE sitcom to watch for a decade. I would think, that The Exes, has the same potential. The characters are lovable and easily understood. (Mostly) employed and not sitting hours on end in a coffee house, while trying to figure out how to pay for their coffees. Personally, I love the premise of the strong, successful career woman showing compassion and kindness towards her "ex" clients, and them reciprocating. It's very grown-up. It's not tedious to watch unlike some shows, and the characters harmonize quite well, despite their quirks and flaws.
I can't wait for a couple of more seasons!!! I am intrigued how much the Wedding might have changed or empowered Holly. :-)
