Swamp Pawn (2013– )
10/10
Best show I have seen in 35 years.

This show was nothing like anything I had watched before. The people in it were the most caring & considerate people you could ever wish to meet. It touched on many topics but focused mainly on Rick Phillips of Phillips Swamp Seafood in Bayou Pigeon, Louisiana., a beautiful location surrounded by beautiful people, there's just nothing else like it on TV. If someone needed a helping hand they would be their in droves to assist, it wasn't no campy type show, it just focused on REAL people who's daily lives consisted of living off/around the swamp or just helping a friend out. One day it would be Gator fishing, next day "lets go & get some garfish" day after lets go on a hunting trip, it also touched on a tragic subject very close to my heart, you just never knew what was in store. The cast had a unique way of portraying themselves as imho every single cast member would have given you their right arm if you was in need of it & you could feel the REALNESS in their voices, from Rick who's such an admirable man to Clayton & Joney Daley who would help out the newer folk, but the WHOLE cast was amazing ALL of them, but a big mention to Coy Gomez. It was a pure wholesome family show that the whole family could enjoy, which is something that seems to be dying out as of recent to other "trashy" shows. When I watched this show it was like I was in paradise as mad as that sounds. Highly recommended especially if you're fed up of all the so called "reality" fighting/arguing or showing off how much money you have type shows. I could watch it 24/7
