Saw this film at SXSW '15. Very well acted and directed with great performances from all of the lead actresses and James McCaffrey. Also, some exceptional cinematography that showed off an area of the country that you don't see much on the big screen.
I kept waiting for Dora to fall in love with some random townie boy. Never happened, which was a pleasant surprise for its simple novelty. The focus was on this young woman and the other women in her life: grandmom, mom, and the new best friend.
All in all, a lot of fun. You find yourself with a smile on your face for the duration of the film.
