'FROZEN FEVER': Three Stars (Out of Five)
An 8 minute animated short film sequel, to Disney's 2013 blockbuster animated feature 'FROZEN'. It was once again directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and it features the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad (all reprising their roles from the film). It also features a new song "Making Today a Perfect Day", by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. It debuted in theaters before Disney's new live-action version of 'CINDERELLA' and it tells the story of Elsa (Menzel) attempting to throw Anna (Bell) a surprise birthday party, when she comes down with a cold that affects her icy powers. The movie is mostly filled up with the song; which is definitely catchy and pleasant enough. There's not a lot more to it; a little sisterly love, which is touching, but that's about it. Kids should still enjoy it though and (like I said) the music is pretty memorable and likable.
