Okay mix of documentary and political thriller

Warning: Spoilers
"Konrad Adenauer - Stunden der Entscheidung" is a film from three years ago that depicts the most crucial moments in the private and political life of Germany's notable politician Konrad Adenauer, possibly the biggest politician on the planet between World War II and the Rise of the Berlin Wall. It includes several other known people from this era such as Augstein, Strauss (both enemies to Adenauer) and a couple more politicians only known in Germany unless you have a deep interest in German politics and live abroad. The narrator did a good job, but sadly the music was unnecessarily dramatic occasionally.

Adenauer is played by Joachim Bißmeier, an experienced actor for many years and the team responsible for writing and directing these 90 minutes also has quite some work under their belt. Bißmeier and Zirner (Augstein) also played together in "Napola" by the way. All the acting is okay and the interviews are included wisely too. Nothing truly outstanding here, but a decent watch for everybody who is interested in German history. Obviously, not everything is 100% historically accurate, like some of the meetings of course, but that does not hurt the film at all.
