This picture surprised me. I've always loved Twister and when I saw that this came out around the same time, i got worried. But it's all different. The story is different, the acting is certainly different (for better or for worse), but otherwise, its a pretty decent picture.
This film focuses on a small down as a storm that gives them huge twisters sits right over their town. There is a scene in which the teens in the film are walking back to town. They see the rescue station , and there, a light shining up into the sky. The one girl comments how it looked creepy. I agree! This film is great with suspense and amazing special effects. It's a good film to watch late Saturday night with a big bowl of popcorn. It is a film-snob favorite!
