Ridiculous

I have quite enjoyed this title, despite some of the ridiculous scenarios (it is a super hero show so I can overlook some stuff). But this episode simply showcases poor writing in favor of "tense" situations. Why is it that a gun that shoots "cold/fire" is able to move faster than a man that can supposedly move so fast that time essentially stands still? Also, why in the world would it take The Flash to stop these guys? You have a police squad who knows what they are up against, and they literally all just walk slowly towards the bad guys with riot shields? Why didn't you place a few riot shields up front and have a few of your good shooters further back to take them out? There are real people that use flamethrowers to attack people, and we don't need a superhero to take them down. They're actually a very easy target. And then at the end of the episode, you set up an entire perimeter for Flash to fight these guys? The bad guys were literally STANDING THERE and the police didn't just shoot them in the back? Overall, very poor writing just to make The Flash look needed.
