what a bore.....a big meh.....

i don't know what's wrong with the British movies, every time when i tried to watch a highly praised British movie, especially in the category or genre of thriller or action movie, i just couldn't finish it. there seems a format that making the British action movies so inferior to Hollywood stuff. in the British movies, the dialog got to be screamed and yelled, like all the participants were either too excited or too scared. the words and sentences were just language abuse to the extreme. the "bloody or fxxking" words were so overly used, it seems that everyone wanted to look tough and vicious, but at the same time, all of them were just scared shxtless. the other thing that turned me down every time when watching a British movie is everything in it was overly exaggerated to match those ugly words. everybody was yelling and screaming. the British humor also so disconnected with me, i've never laughed or even smiled to their 'bloody' jokes, never. i often ended up returned the rentals right away, no exception. British movie industries only better than light comedy or romance, or adaptations from the classic literature, when people wearing old costumes, riding on horses or sitting in a wagon. those popular so-called mystery, those laughable murder cases, those with the 'chief inspector', old or female chiefs whatever, were most written by house wives. their logic or reasoning are so poor and laughable. British action films are just like Bollywood action films, no matter how serious situation is, no matter how dangerous the main character is facing, suddenly, it turns into singing and dancing. so like Bollywood movies, if they cannot get rid of the singing and dancing, Hindi movies would never be taken seriously. by the same token, if the British movies cannot change the yelling and screaming dialog, if they could not change the way of communication into more normal condition, it'd always turn out to be a big unbearable and noisy mess. This one is the good example of yelling and screaming British style.
