Bomb Girls has the best scripts, direction, and cast of any Canadian TV show I've seen. Until I heard them mention cities in Canada I assumed it was from an American network. (and yes, most Canadian TV has poor production quality on all fronts)
The characters are all so unique and intriguing (somewhat due to the place and time of the story) that each of their sub-plots just suck you right in. The story covers many topics I didn't know about the home-front in WWII.
Each episode kept me hanging and when it was canceled I, along with many others, were outraged! They came back with a bang (or so I hear) by releasing a TV movie, allowing for some closure to the story. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!
