Sons of Anarchy: A Mother's Work (2013)
Season 6, Episode 13

Warning: Spoilers
The much anticipated season finale of season six deals out one of the most shocking endings in the history of the much loved television drama. The episode focuses on key issues; the logistics of finally handing over the guns to another gang, Nero falling out of love with both the Sons and Gemma and finally the much discussed problem of Tara. All three issues implode together in a frightening ending which leaves two key characters dead. About three quarters the way in the club resolves most problems and Jackson agrees to turn himself in for the school shooting so Tara can have the freedom she needs to raise her two sons in peace. They really should have called Gemma. Gemma mistakenly believes that Jackson is going to prison because of Tara and kills her before anyone can set her straight. Juice then kills Eli so there are no witnesses to Gemma's crime (there is no certainty for any actor on Sons of Anarchy). The murder is so brutal and so unexpected; it takes a moment to sink in. This episode starts slowly but builds to lightening pace. It is true SAMCRO form; violent, dramatic, funny and heart breaking. …..Only ten months to go until we find out what happens next. I wouldn't advise missing it.
