Warning: Spoilers
This is a movie that falls far short of expectations. The premise is intriguing: an old man falls into a coma, during which he explores his own internal space in the persona of a young child. He's guided through this adventure by a character who's kind of a combination of Falcor and Jack Skellington. Danger lurks around every corner, and presumably his goal is to reach some sort of self-realization before he succumbs to his condition.

The movie starts out with everything you'd expect from a psychological thriller, and the first few minutes are very promising. Then the band starts playing, and the movie reveals itself for what it is -- an extended music video promoting a semi-obscure European metal band.

Yes, that's right. It's a music video. Maybe if I was a fan of the band Nightwish I would have been less disappointed. Unfortunately I'm not a fan, and the movie overall was a real letdown.
