Season 6 Finale - Really ?
11 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
The only thing I can think of to say about the season finale of SOA is…disappointing. It appeared as a showcase by Mr. Sutter of his wife's, Katy Segal, dramatic acting talents, and a far reach to the roots of the original SOA story line of an outlaw MC. The whole " my boys, my boys, my boys " mantra has been way overused, especially in light of the fact that Jax was already in the process of laying out a plan for the future. Oh yeah! Gemma didn't know that, so she reacted by motherly instinct. Way overplayed! As for Juice ( Theo Rossi ) coming in on the murder scene and ultimately killing Eli ( Rockmond Dunbar ), then taking Gemma away, again, his continuous overcompensation will ultimately end in his demise. And it would not be unpredictable to find that he is related in some way to the DA ( CCH Pounder ) . Seaon 7 ( I mistakingly thought Season 6 was the last ) will have Jax arrested for the murder of Eli and a long drawn out investigation that may culminate in the realization that his gun did not shoot Eli and there was a third party at the scene. Enter homeless girl that is a "dumpster diver" ? Of course Wayne ( Dayton Callie ) , who is probably the only one at this point who knows the whole story, is now in a happy place with Clay and Nero out of the picture and ( so he wants to believe ) Gemma all to himself. Jax removal of his colors/cut at the door when he came into his home may be the symbolic frame work for his disassociation with the MC and a change into the life style that John Teller wanted before he was eliminated by Clay Morrow and Gemma Teller. Syndication will likely later have SOA playing in the afternoons, right after Ellen. This saddened me after faithfully following from Episode 1. :(
