Comedienne Whitney Cummings created her own show to star as a freelance photographer who lives with her boyfriend Alex (Chris D'Elia). Her best friends are Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn) and Lily (Zoe Lister Jones). His best friend is Mark (Dan O'Brien).

Everybody got slightly nicer, got more heart. Mark bought a bar that the group hang out at. Generally they dropped the edge and became more mainstream.
