Magic Magic (2013)

I've seen worse movies but not very many!
13 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
The most disappointing aspect of this film was the fact that it had the potential to be decent, if the plot had simply gone in a more intelligent direction. The end result is a complete loss of logic and foundation in anything remotely entertaining, enjoyable or believable (even with Herculean suspension of disbelief).

The next most disappointing part of the movie was that Brink did not suffer an extremely graphically depicted, painful death at some point. I must hand it to Michael Cera for portraying one of the most annoying and unlikable characters I've ever seen on film. It's too bad his talents were not employed in a better story.

It makes me sad to think of all the great scripts lying around that never get produced into movies. Why does something this bad get to be seen on the screen? I wish I could get my rental fee back, plus damages for wasting my time and filling my very soul with feelings of abject disappointment. Maybe giving the viewer these feelings is the intention of this total bummer of a flick.

If you'd like to play a prank on your worst enemy, recommend this film!
