First off: The movie is rated "6" in Germany, but I'm pretty sure this would be a hard "R" rating in America! It's not violent, but it has a lot of nudity and even intercourse. While the censors in Germany would have minded violence, they do not care about nudity. Having said that, the religious theme of the movie might also stir some "controversy" (to say the least) in the good old US of A.
But onto the movie, which is a really fine example of a successful German comedy. Most of the things coming your way are predictable, but they are still funny as hell (sorry for the pun). Some are kind of outrageous some are plain weird, but the movie never really loses its way. Which cannot be said about the characters of course. Some really fine comedic acting on display and some funny moments make this one of the better movies in the recent years.
