The show is enjoyable as a brainless action series with a good humored side kick. But, it does hurt the religious sentiments of a lot of people outside the Christian religion with its blatant disregard for historical/ mythological credence.
Whoever the writer is, he sure is very interested in showing most old and living cultures as uncivilized. Do I smell a zealot here? The writer needs to go back to a proper school and get the basic facts right.
In a few episodes, the sets and locations of the places where the scene is supposed to have happened are just not believable and in most cases erroneous.
Finally, the series just does not warrant any comparison whatsoever with Indiana Jones and Lara Croft.
