WHEN THE NIGHT is a class act with strong performances, particularly from leading lady Claudia Pandolfi as a mother on the edge caring for her screaming two year old and taking him to rent an isolated alpine flat from glowering mountain guide Timi (Mussolini in VINCERE),who has his own issues with defective mothering.
