We just watched this quite by accident...it came up in a search and we were bored. My husband and I stopped the movie too many times to marvel at the parallels with this year: 2012 The references to 41 states adopting restrictive anti-abortion laws, the way women are voting people in that write laws like this, the way Linda Hunt suggests that we respond to crisis but allow chipping away at our Constitution is small chunks until ultimate damage is done. This is a must see for women and for men that believe women are something more than an occasionally useful distraction. Wake up ladies...this movie, made way back in 1992 is so spot-on that it may actually be the game plan for the current far right ideologues. Wake up.
